Tom Ford: Neroli Portofino

It’s a modern classic for a reason. Alkemia Perfumes: The Sea Has Many Gods

I was introduced to Alkemia Perfumes by a bonafide witch a few years ago, and I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve been under their spell ever since. This indie producer leans fully into the ancient, occult arts of perfumery, producing a spectacular array of truly unique fragrances – most of which are, unsurprisingly, far more suited to the darker, colder end of the year. The Sea Has Many Gods (what a name!) celebrates the scent of ocean spray and turbulent waves, offering notes of seashells, seaweed and sea sage, with a deeply mysterious undercurrent of ambergris. It’s utterly hypnotic, and they’re a brand I’d urge you to get familiar with.
